//0603/VITRO exhibition pavilion first prize competition
//Fast and disposable architecture built with rubbish. 25.000 pieces and 170 tons of glass are used for 35.000 visitors during 100 hours. The Vitro Pavilion was conceived, developed, built and destroyed in less than 6 months. Glass as an everlasting material used in a temporal exhibition, built with the main purpose of being destroyed.
01>> building with waste glass//We build just with glass, waste glass, extracted from other buildings. When floated glass sheets are cut there are always some un-used rests, we store these pieces and recycle them in the pavilion. The waste glass is organized in piles creating exhibition areas where Vitro can show its activity. In the pavilion you could see all the different types of glass Vitro is using in the construction of their current projects.
